Last month was a very busy month for US, especially on the DJ side of things. We had the Cinco de Mayo holiday at the beginning of May and at the end we had Memorial Day weekend. I was able to get booked at a Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo. It was a very successful night, and I was also able to be booked all three days of the Memorial Day weekend. Some of the gigs were booked directly and other gigs I contracted out from other vendors. There were also some other gigs in between as well and it made for very busy month. In fact, I would have to say that in the past 30 years of me being a DJ, this has been my busiest month ever. With all this extra business, we were able to invest in our sound and lighting systems and I’m very excited and looking forward to future events using this new equipment. We invested in new uplighting fixtures and are going away from using any suspended lighting effects. We also moved on from the Rane Twelves and returned to traditional turntables with Phase. Our speaker systems inventory grew with the addition of the RCF J8 system. We were able to use them over the holiday weekend and were very impressed with their performance.
